RSM UK has reported that the number of registered company insolvencies in England and Wales was 2,177 in April 2024, – 18% higher than in March 2024 and April 2023, respectively, and above levels seen during the pandemic. The construction industry experienced the highest number of insolvencies, reaching a total of 4,273.
